Avoid processed sugars and sweeteners. Both of these take a lot of processing by our system, which in turn takes away our energy. Bear in mind that it’s impossible to cut out all sugars. Fruits and vegetables contain naturally occurring sugars, and we don’t need to limit our intake there. However, choose to avoid processed and artificial sugar.

Exercise daily. There’s little that exercise can’t help us do! Simply walking more often and engaging in gentle exercise can help us to instantly feel more awake!

Increase your consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables. Today, we’re constantly being told what not to eat. However, this is not the case when it comes to fruits and vegetables. We are biologically designed to eat fruits and vegetables, and we need the enzymes and fiber to keep our systems working well. Increasing the amount of raw food also makes a big difference to your energy.

Get better quality sleep. Spending your nights tossing and turning can make you feel tired the next day. Be sure that you’re getting at least 8 hours of sleep every night, as an adult. If you struggle to sleep, limit your caffeine after 3:00 p.m., and write down what is on your mind before you go to sleep.

Look after your mind. The mind is a major player in how we feel and our energy levels. Try meditating for 10 minutes every day, or do yoga once a week. Be sure to do one thing every day that you enjoy doing!
